Perspectives in Nonlinear Dynamics 2025 is an event supported by the EFC (Educating Future Citizens) Project, the FAIR (Future Artificial Intelligence Research) Foundation and CHAOS:  An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science.

Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca is a member of the EFC network: IMT PhD students and scholars have the opportunity to participate in joint activities and are encouraged to engage with partner institutions to foster academic and research collaborations. PNLD 2025 aligns with EFC’s objective of creating a network of PhD students and young scholars across institutions, contributing to the education of a new generation of citizens facing an increasingly complex society. PNLD focuses on nonlinearity as the common aspect behind several real-world phenomena ranging from collective behaviour in social and biological contexts to the (in)stability of economic and ecological systems.

FAIR is a non-profit foundation whose main purpose is to implement the interventions financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), and any subsequent funding, in the artificial intelligence field. FAIR is an extended partnership based on the Hub Spoke model: the Foundation is the hub, the implementing body and contact point of the Partnership (thematic area 1 – Artificial Intelligence: Foundational Aspects, foreseen by the MUR Call no. 341 of 15/03/2022), and carries out its activity in collaboration with the Spokes, that are the entities involved in the implementation of the research program.organised as part of the SoBigData.it project (Prot. IR0000013 – Call n. 3264 of 12/28/2021) and is aimed at training new users and communities in the usage of the research infrastructure SoBigData.eu

CHAOS is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to increasing the understanding of nonlinear phenomena. Chaos covers a range of topics in the broadly interdisciplinary area of nonlinear science in a manner accessible to researchers from a broad spectrum of disciplines, and publishes special Focus Issues regularly. Chaos is devoted to increasing the understanding of nonlinear phenomena and describing the manifestations in a manner comprehensible to researchers from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
