Satellite of StatPhys 29
Join us in the historic city of Lucca for the
Perspectives in Nonlinear Dynamics 2025
from July 21st to 25th, 2025
Since the 1970s, nonlinear science has grown remarkably, integrating nonlinear dynamics and statistical physics with complex systems, machine learning, and information theory to analyze and predict complex phenomena. Italy has played a key role in this field, notably through the 1986 ICTP School, which fostered collaborations with researchers from the Global South. The Perspectives in Nonlinear Dynamics (PNLD) conference series, launched in 2004 in India, has become a significant platform for global experts, held every three years alongside the StatPhys conference. With StatPhys-29 set for Florence in 2025, the nearby historic city of Lucca offers the venue for PNLD 2025, ensuring an inspiring environment for scientific exchange on cutting-edge topics like nonlinear systems, complex networks, machine learning, and quantum chaos. In line with the addition of the novel TOPIC 9 "Statistical physics of machine learning and information: Machine learning, neural networks, information processing, etc." to the topics of StatPhys-29, PNLD 2025 is particularly interested in contributions on this topic.
The Perspectives in Nonlinear Dynamics (PNLD) 2025 will be a satellite conference to StatPhys-29, which will be held in Florence on July 13-18, 2025.
The PNLD series of conferences has been held every 3 years in different parts of the world over the last 20 years, always as a satellite to the StatPhys Conference.
Earlier editions of PNLD have been held at:
PNLD 2004 - Chennai
PNLD 2007 - Trieste
PNLD 2010 - Bangalore
